The Toy Box

A mess of sketches, designs and ideas.

Bare naked. Ready to be sealed and sanded. Then a visit to the local paint shop for some colour selection and varnish advice.

Base coated, inside and out.
Caribbean Sea Blue. Let's call it teal.
And I sand again.
Working on full size designs, getting ready for
tomorrow's visit to Staples to enlarge some
pictures.

The shelves are painted.
Now for what goes on those shelves.
Pictures are taken in my dining room as this is
too big for my painting table downstairs.
After this, I think I'll just paint small things,
like my 126 little gourds.
Or little canvas pictures. With lots of detail.

This is a basecoat of the areas I'm going to paint.
A lot of blotches, though you can tell what some of them are going to be.

The front of the toy box ... completed.
The two sides.
The lid.
... and the top. I love the moon balloon.
Must have been the full moon the night I painted it.
